Experimental
Photo-sharing application:

The design of this application is governed by:
Workflow organization:
Enhancing effectiveness & efficiency in the service of the user. Toward this, I have determined a typical workflow of current practice among users through my initial user survey. I will identify areas of back-and-forth, excise ( like remembering which pictures have been transferred to the computer), inability to find files, duplication of jobs ( such as emailing a set of pictures to X & Y, after 4 days emailing the same to A & B).
Data Visualization & Information display:
Explore new ways of pairing & showing information that proves exciting & rewarding to the user's tasks. I also explore the idea of spatial & time-based display of information. Navigation will follow rules of perspective, a concept every architect is familiar with: therefore current selections will advance while others recede; concepts of scale & visibility, so that current items are larger & brighter, while other information is smaller & fainter.
Richer Communication:
Explore richer means of communication, discussion among user groups.
Narrative:
Explore how narrative can be brought in to play, while not losing sight of user goals. Architecture is a combination of science & art. How can this application provide the necessary balance of tensions between the two.
