The idea behind this project came from my experiences as I walked around New York city this past year. Ever so often, I am walking down Broadway, & I half expect to see a hand-pulled cart, or cows sitting in the middle of the road or the clamorous, clattery three-wheeled rickshas - all surfacing when least expected, the flotsam & jetsam of my memories of home, India.

So here is a series of prints I am working on that combines these ideas with digital manipulation of photographs, piecing together a fantasy world. The final output is in large format digital print on paper, & these prints are then further accented with crayon and paint.
