These are paintings of interior scenes that I have made over time. I enjoy painting familiar scenes

and places, and how they attain a magical quality with changing light.

"The Dining Room" is a painting that came about when the sunlight drew lovely reflections and shadows on the table .The same is true for the painting "Dining Table and chair" . The mid-morning light in my home produces a very warm, lively atmosphere.

In this painting, I have tried to show the reflections of the table legs on the floor and also their shadows.
The other painting, "Reclining Figure" has again been inspired by a magical moment that I felt needed to be captured.The figure is Ravi, my husband , enjoying a nap.
