Chamberlain:
A Landscape painter and Portrait artist with 35 years experience in painting, architecture and landscape architecture. At present Chamberlain works between UK, France and Holland.

Chamberlain is always happy to discuss general aspects of the creation of his paintings; questions of form /colour/ feeling/energy, but prefers the works to speak for themselves and for others to express their feelings about them.

A painting means something different for everyone, and a good painting should be - in his own words "..a window to the imagination and the involvement of the viewers’ own feelings and concepts."

Collectors say that his paintings are good to live with, and grow on them. One collector has twelve already.

What his critics & collectors have to say about his work:

"Chamberlain has a fine facility for organising space, together with a deep knowledge of the use of colour and texture. The individual characteristics, the lighting and structure are pure painting skills and values."
                                                                                                                                          [VALK: Dutch Critic]

"The landscapes breathe and give the feeling of movement. Nothing is fixed; everything is suggested with a light touch in the brushwork. This is why he never reworks an image, thus avoiding the painting becoming static."                                                                                                                                 [Kunstzaal Van Heijningen]

"The work of Chamberlain is remarkable for his skill and aesthetic approach. He knows how to transfer his feelings in colour, structure and form."
