Grace Frankforter
is an artist living in Montana, USA.

In her words, "I work in a variety of media because I enjoy the sense of power and freedom which comes from being able to choose whatever I feel will best express the intent of the current piece. I like the clarity of bold expressive color and subtle nuance; I enjoy the effect of an obvious line in relationship to clean fields of color, or even screaming against a plane of neutrality.

I am greatly inspired by humanity and relationships of all kind and my work reflects my ongoing quest to redefine in my mind and work the relationships I perceive in the world around me.

While it is true that sometimes I work to draw attention to or away from these perceived relationships, it is equally true that I create for the absolute joy of discovering where the next thought or stroke will take me.

Either way, through experimentation, continuous study and redefinition my work reflects my ongoing curiosity about the higher order of our collective human consciousness and invites the participant to think differently about what appears to be obvious and perhaps enjoy a clarification of their own defining expectations of humanity."
